At the  first half of 2014, HHI successfully purchased  "HUADIAN1001” jack-up platform which is the China's first jack-up platform for offshore wind installation. In 2015, HHl established the “Ocean and Environmental Engineering Department” (now renamed as "Ocean Engineering Department") in Beijing, fully promoting  the  development of offshore wind business. At the same year, HHl established the Offshore Wind Technology Center in Tianjin subsidiary to focusing on the design and R&D of offshore wind business, with expertise covering resources, electrical, geo-technical, structural, process,etc., and core system design capabilities in ocean engineering such as offshore wind business,offshore photovoltaic.

Vietnam Cà Mau 350MW Offshore Wind Power

Vietnam Cà Mau 350MW offshore wind power project is located in the southeastern of Cà Mau Province in southern Vietnam, with the multi-piles foundation for the wind turbines. This project is the first overseas offshore wind power project of HHI, the installation of turbines in Block 1B was completed on October 31, 2022. This milestone marks a significant achievement for the 350MW Cà Mau Offshore Wind Power Project, demonstrating the rapid execution capabilities of HHI in the offshore wind sector and helped the company's future market expansion in Southeast Asia.
