The Nusaraya Coal Storkyard and Overland Conveyance System EPC&OM Project, Indonesia
The project, located in Dongkut County, East Kalimantan, includes EPC and 12-year O&M servic for a 1.07 million-ton coal storage yard and a 26-kilometer long-distance conveyor system. The total contract amount reaches up to 5.567 billion yuan, setting a new record for HHI’s engineering business. The project has pioneered HHI’s international business model of EPC General Contracting + Operation & Maintenance, transforming HHI’s international business model from equipment supply to systematic solution which is technology based and covers the whole industrial chain. Hence, HHI has achieved the transformation of its international business from equipment supply to full life cycle service for high-end engineering and a significant breakthrough in the material conveyance business in the international market.
Coal handling system EP project for TJB Power Plant, Indonesia
The coal handling system of this project includes 2 sets of ship unloaders (rated capacity 1500t/h), 2 sets of stacker & relaimers (stacking capacity 1500t/h, reclaiming capacity 1000t/h, boom length 43m) and all belt conveyors and pipe conveyor in the power plant.
In 2012, this power plant was rated as one of the World’s Top Six Coal-fired Power Plants by Power Magazine in America.

The coal handling system of this project includes 2 sets of ship unloaders (rated capacity 2000t/h), 3 sets of stacker & relaimers (stacking capacity 2000t/h, reclaiming capacity 1400t/h, boom length 43m) and all belt conveyors in the power plant.
CHINALCO Guinea Boffa Bauxite Overland Belt Conveyor Project
The total length of conveyor system for the project is 24 kilometers, with a designed capacity of 5,000 t/h, including 2 bucket-wheel stacker& reclaimers, 6 overland belt conveyors and their affiliated electrical&control system. This system is currently the longest single belt ore conveyance system in Africa and the energy consumption for each ton of materials is 50% lower than traditional solution. As a shining pearl on the Belt and Road Initiative, it has become a significant landmark project for deepening practical and friendly cooperation between China and Africa, accelerating the global development, and enhancing sustainable development capabilities.
SHOUGANG HIERRO PER? Iron Ore Conveyor Project
It consists of three major parts: one iron mine belt conveyor system with a length of 4.4 km and a maximum output of 3120 t/h for ore, one 3-kilometer-long ore and iron concentrate powder conveyor system in the beneficiation plant with a maximum output of 2600 t/h(including drum stacker and reclaimer), and a 2.9-kilometer-long iron concentrate powder conveyor system with a maximum output of 12000 t/h for the new wharf.
Indonesia Qingshan Industrial Park Coking Park Public Auxiliary Coal and Coke Conveyor Combined Corridor Project
The project is located in the Aoyama Industrial Park in Morowali, Sulawesi Province, Indonesia. It started construction on January 20, 2023 and was handed over on August 30, 2024.
Including the engineering, procurement, installation, commissioning, and technical services of T02 and T03 steel structure transfer stations, conveyor gallery steel structures, belt conveyors, and ancillary facilities.
The belt conveyor consists of three layers, with the upper layer consisting of three coal loading belt conveyors from Xuyang, Detian, and Jinxiang; Three upper coke belt conveyors from three companies in the middle layer; The lower level one is the coal conveyor belt of Qingshan Power Plant;
The transportation capacity of the coal belt conveyor is 5000t/h, with a belt speed of 5.2m/s, and the coke belt conveyor is 4100t/h, with a belt speed of 4.8m/s.
The maximum length of a single belt conveyor is 2.5 kilometers, totaling 15 kilometers.
This project is the coal and coke material yard and enclosed shed supporting EP general contracting project for 1.3 million tons/year of solidified coke 3.4 million tons/year of top-loaded coke projects of Xuyang and De Tian Jiaozhi, and also includes the installation project of coal coke material shed truss. Construction began in 2022 and was put into operation with materials in 2024.
