Focusing on the national strategic goal of "carbon peak and carbon neutral" and the direction of clean energy development of Huadian Group and Huadian Science and Industry Group, the hydrogen energy business focuses on the research of hydrogen energy industry policy and dynamics, the development of hydrogen energy materials, equipment and systems, the research of hydrogen energy application technology, and the research of digitalization and intelligentization. The research work will be carried out in the areas of renewable energy development and utilization, science and technology development, and the use of hydrogen energy. Relying on the development and utilization of renewable energy, R&D, manufacturing, general contracting, system integration, investment and operation capabilities of science and industry, and taking science and technology development, equipment manufacturing, engineering services, operation management, inspection and testing services as the path, we will build the "chain length" of the hydrogen energy industry chain and the source of original technology of the core materials, and set up a brand name of hydrogen energy with the characteristics of Huadian. With the goal of establishing Huadian's unique hydrogen energy brand, the company relies on renewable energy resources for efficient hydrogen preparation, and opens up the industrial chain for efficient utilization of hydrogen energy. We will promote the application of "green hydrogen" in more fields, including municipal, transportation, metallurgy, chemical industry, energy and other areas of deep decarbonization, and build a modernized and low-carbon new energy system with hydrogen energy as the core.


Alkaline electrolytic water to hydrogen plant

The main technical indexes of the 1200Nm?/h alkaline electrolytic water hydrogen production plant independently developed by CHD have reached the international advanced level, and it has fully realized independent control in key components. Currently, the developed products can cover 50-3000Nm?/h, and can be customized according to the requirements of owners and project needs.


MW-class PEM electrolytic water to hydrogen plant

CHD has launched the research and development of MW-class PEM hydrogen generator with internal scientific research units, and formed the core competitiveness in core materials (proton exchange membrane, gas diffusion layer), key components (membrane electrodes) and large-capacity PEM hydrogen generator. The technical indexes of the developed hydrogen generator have reached the domestic leading and international advanced level.


Gas Diffusion Layer and Proton Exchange Membrane

Gas diffusion layer and proton exchange membrane are the core materials of hydrogen fuel cell and PEM electrolytic water hydrogen generation device. Through the design of microstructure, optimization of formula and process, and the development of special production equipment, CHD breaks through the technical bottleneck of the layers and realizes the independent and controllable preparation of high-performance, high-durability, and ultrathin core materials in macroscopic quantities, which fills the gaps in the domestic industry, and the key technological indexes of the products have reached the advanced level in the international arena. The first automated production line for one million square meters of gaseous diffusion layer in China, adopting roll-to-roll continuous production process and on-line quality control in the whole process, with a maximum width of 1.2 meters, which is capable of meeting the demand for gaseous diffusion layer for fuel cells, electrolytic water hydrogen generators, and liquid flow battery products.


Proton exchange membrane production line

The first automated production line for enhanced perfluorosulfonic acid proton exchange membrane in China, with a product width of up to 0.6 meters, capable of meeting the demand for proton exchange membranes for fuel cells, electrolytic water to hydrogen production devices, and flow battery products.
